Before BlueMaster
Rodney had been running CobbleCrete for over 25 years before he started working with BlueMaster. Revenue was steady at around $30K a month, but he'd been burned by marketing agencies before and was sceptical of anyone promising results in his industry.
"I was very sceptical of all these companies out there, like people like you. A lot of them are fake, to be honest with you. And I'm so happy that I found someone like you."
What got him to actually sign up wasn't a cold pitch — it was a referral from another business already working with BlueMaster.
The First Month
Rodney is upfront that results didn't happen overnight.
"The first month, I'll be honest with you, it was good, but it wasn't amazing. Now I can say it's amazing."
Three to four months in, CobbleCrete is consistently doing $60K a month — double where they started — including one epoxy flooring client worth $120K in a single 30-day period. Rodney's now looking at bringing on an additional team member to keep up with the work.
What Changed
Rodney points to two things specifically: getting the right type of jobs (not just whatever inquiries came through), and working a tighter service radius instead of driving all over Sydney for scattered jobs.
"It all comes down to money, attracting customers, and you attract them for me. You made it so much easier for us."
"Now I'm just targeting the radius that I want to be in — and that's what I like now."
He also called out communication and speed of response — including BlueMaster's SMS follow-up system that texts new leads automatically so they don't go cold while Rodney's on a job.
"You're always on par. That's what I love about it. If a client's just come through, you present me the call — that was a very, very nice experience."
Asked directly whether the SMS follow-up system, where BlueMaster's team texts each new lead and has a back-and-forth conversation before it lands on his phone, actually makes a difference, Rodney didn't need to think about it.
"No, it's all worth it. All worth it. I'm so happy."
Scaling Up
With the extra work, Rodney's thinking about his team rather than his marketing.
"I've got him now. So I'm just thinking maybe one more person, just to be comfortable, just to keep the quality going. That's all."
Looking Back
Asked whether working with BlueMaster was a risk or an investment, Rodney didn't hesitate.
"An investment. Yeah, I'm so happy. I'm sure you've seen me smiling more than ever."
"It's worth the investment. Most definitely. I've seen things change dramatically."
